The contestants reminisce over the season. Miss Congeniality was announced; previous Miss Congeniality and season 8 and 9 drag queen Cynthia Lee Fontaine announced that fellow contestant Valentina won the title, which sparked criticism amongst all other queens. During the end of the episode, RuPaul announced that the final four contestants would have to lip-sync in groups of two to see who advances to winning America's Next Drag Superstar.[32]

To help answer this question, we've gathered images from episode 9 of HBO's The Last of Us and put them next to stills from Naughty Dog's The Last of Us game to see how faithful the adaptation is. Check out the slideshow, or watch the video above to see the scenes from both the show and the game in action.

Even with the conclusion of Season 6 fast approaching, fans of Rick and Morty can rest easy knowing creators Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon have signed on to Cartoon Network for at least one more season. The creators have even said that they are already in the middle writing a Season 8 as part of their 100-episode contract.

It aired on June 02, 2016.

Episode 9 is titled Look for the Light. The episode runs approximately 43 minutes. Judging from the trailer, episode 9 finally depicts Joel and Ellie reaching Salt Lake City after their season-long quest for the Fireflies. Of course, this being The Last of Us, nothing is as simple as it should be, and Joel appears to be in an intense firefight with someone, possibly an Infected.

None. There are nine scheduled episodes in season 1 of The Last of Us. Originally, there were supposed to be 10, but that changed to nine at an unspecified date. Since this is the season 1 finale, there will be no more episodes.

It's safe to say that after eight stellar episodes, The Last of Us is one of the best shows of 2023. From its effortless world-building to its subtle and layered character development, the show has impressed critics and audiences alike with its excellent storytelling. The show has broken the video game curse and become the rare adaptation that matched the high quality of its source material. And since The Last of Us is one of the most acclaimed video games of all time, that's no small feat.

While some people may be sad that the first season is ending, they will have more to look forward to. A second season has already been given the green light but that's still at least a couple of years away. In the meantime, HBO is offering up an immediate treat for fans: a behind-the-scenes special. The making of The Last of Us will air soon on HBO, but when can people watch it and what is it about? With The Last of Us episode 9 about to air, we have all the answers for you. When can you watch the Making of The Last of Us?

The episode opens with Usopp running through Syrup Village, yelling that pirates are coming. Meanwhile, on the sea, Nami mentions how they'll need a ship if they want to make it to the Grand Line. At Syrup Village, Usopp says that what he said before was a lie, so the townspeople get mad at him. He runs away and meets with Piiman and Ninjin. At that moment, Tamanegi comes running up to them, yelling that real pirates have arrived. Usopp wants to run away and have a snack, but after the urging of the Usopp Pirates he goes out to face them.

Back in the early episodes of "Game of Thrones," there was a scene between Benjen Stark and Tyrion Lannister at the Wall. Benjen tells Lord Tyrion that Ned Stark (Benjen's older brother), once told him "that nothing someone says before the word 'but' really counts."

You may have lost track of the Kingsguard shufflings earlier in the season, but Ser Harrold hasn't always been the Lord Commander. In the pilot episode, he was a knight of the Kingsguard and sworn protector of Princess Rhaenyra. He was there to escort her from the dragonpit back to the castle, and he also helped her meet with Daemon in secret before King Viserys knew his brother was back in the city.

Ser Erryk was introduced in episode eight when he notified Queen Alicent of Aegon's assault on a serving girl. He is the kingsguard knight assigned as Aegon's sworn protector. That means he's had an up close view to his doings. He wears his tunic open and his beard a teensy bit more unkempt than his twin brother.

The series is on Crunchyroll and Netflix. Crunchyroll is simulcasting the series. The episode with English subtitles will be out an hour after it airs in Japan. In the United States, that would be at the following times on Monday:

A similar scene plays out in the comics. In Issue 134, Jesus and Darius also get attacked by Whisperers by a bridge. Just like the show, they butcher everyone except the girl, who is taken prisoner. Also, Darius gets super stabbed during the fight, whereas in the episode everyone makes it out with barely a scratch.

We had high hopes for the finale of the inaugural season of "Strange New Worlds" and the drama is already building in the penultimate installment that is episode 9. Entitled "All Those Who Wander," the episode does not disappoint and in fact, marks arguably the darkest installment yet of what is the best live-action "Star Trek" spin-off currently on air.

A plan is hatched (pun intended) to drive the remaining two Gorn into a trap by lowering the temperature in different sections of the ship, since the Gorn prefer a more temperate climate. All of this incredibly useful information, by the way, comes from Lt. Noonien-Singh's experience fighting the Gorn from a young age and as such, she transforms into 'Noonien-Singh: Gorn Hunter.' Sam Kirk serves as the token, fear-stricken crewmember who starts to unravel in a nice throwback to some of "The Original Series" episodes and he actually attacks Spock for his purely logical approach to the situation, just like many characters did some 50-odd years ago. But again, it's been nicely updated/refreshed and in an unexpected twist, Sam actually saves Spock's life.

He was a character that we were rapidly becoming very fond of, in particular his arid-dry wit and from the very first moment we met him in episode 2 "Children of the Comet" watching the relationship arc between Uhura and him develop was a joy to behold. But, it's not over yet. In an interview, Bruce Horak told Space.com that he'd be back.

"I think especially Celia was quite surprised, reading episode nine. That was a particularly tough goodbye. Celia and I shot many scenes together. Obviously the camaraderie that develops between Uhura and Hemmer, I mean, there was just no denying that that was going to bleed into the off-camera stuff and hanging out, and Celia and I connected over music and theater and just a general joie de vivre.

"So when we had to shoot that episode, it was pretty hard. It was pretty hard on her. And you know what, they say it's always hardest on those left behind, and yeah. I guess if there's one hope that I have for Hemmer is that it takes them a long time to get over him. Isn't that everyone's hope?"

The first eight episodes of "Strange New Worlds" are now available to watch on Paramount Plus (opens in new tab) as is the entire second season of "Star Trek: Picard." Season 4 of "Star Trek: Discovery" is also available on the Paramount streaming service in the US and on CTV Sci-Fi or Crave TV in Canada. Countries outside of North America can watch on the Pluto TV Sci-Fi channel. Paramount is available in the UK and Ireland both as a standalone service and as part of the Sky Cinema subscription for the UK cable provider.

It wasn't unwelcome to see Tara and Rebecca's first meeting, but it didn't really apply to the episode. Rossi's recollection of Krystall's funeral showed him as vulnerable, but it made sense only when he showed fear of being underground in the bunker.

His death is as dark and heartbreaking as we have come to expect. The penultimate Servant episode has to go to its darkest place to either prepare us for more darkness or offer some hope at the end.

The finale episode to the wildly popular HBO series saw Pedro Pascal's Joel and Bella Ramsey's Ellie finally reach the Fireflies in the hopes of providing a cure - but things were nothing like they expected.

The spectacular episode also starred Ashley Johnson, who voiced Ellie in the games, as Ellie's mum Anna, and brought back Marlene (played by Merle Dandridge in both the show and games) - although not for long.

The finale episode of The Last of Us begins with a heavily pregnant woman, played by Ashley Johnson, running away from infected through the woods. She races to an abandoned building, where she's clearly expecting to meet someone - but there's no one to be found. It becomes clear that she's in labour and, with the threat of infected getting ever closer, she's forced to deliver the baby on her own.

We then return to the present day, after a traumatised Ellie was forced to kill David in episode 8 before being rescued by Joel. The pair continue their journey, but Ellie is clearly not herself, despite Joel's efforts to bring her back. 041b061a72
